AlUla, The Venice Biennale, held from April 16 to 30, hosts a special exhibition of works by Wadi AlFann artists, from AlUla Governorate, titled 'Journeys in Land Art, Towards Wadi AlFann, AlUla', which aims to introduce the governorate's cultural and natural diversity. The exhibition puts the spotlight on the first five artists commissioned to create works of art displayed at Wadi AlFann: Manal AlDowayan, Agnes Denes, Michael Heizer, Ahmed Mater, and James Turrell. Mater, Brazil-based curator of the Desert X AlUla Marcello Dantas, and Saudi Artist Dana Awartani took part in a panel discussion held in parallel with the exhibition.
