Baghdad, The White House announced this evening, Monday, that Saudi Arabia faces serious security threats from the Houthis.
White House Spokeswoman Jane Saki said in a press briefing that: The administration of President Joe Biden is still concerned about the increasing attacks on Saudi Arabia.
She added: The Kingdom faces real security threats from the Yemeni Houthi group, which is allied with Iran and elsewhere in the region.
Saki explained: Of course, we continue to work in close cooperation with the Saudis, given this threat.
The current period has witnessed a Houthi escalation against vital Saudi cities and facilities with ballistic missiles and a booby-trapped drone that led to material losses.
Saudi Arabia, which leads an Arab coalition to support the internationally recognized legitimacy of Yemen, struck Houthi targets in the capital, Sanaa, and elsewhere, in response to these attacks.
