Baghdad, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman by phone the implementation of the OPEC agreement to produce oil.
A Kremlin statement said the two sides affirmed their aspiration to continue intensive coordination to maintain the stability of energy markets.
The statement added that Putin discussed with the Saudi Crown Prince the development of relations between the two countries in various fields, especially in light of the 95th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The two sides expressed the interest of Moscow and Riyadh to enhance cooperation in trade, economic and investment fields.
The call also dealt with combating the Corona pandemic, and the possibility of using Russian anti-Coronavirus vaccines in Saudi Arabia.
The statement indicated that Putin and Bin Salman also discussed regional files, especially the situation in Syria and the Gulf region.
