Riyadh, President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad discussed here today with Ambassador of the EU Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Patrick Simonnet aspects of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union in the fields of human rights and means of strengthening them, praising the depth of relations between the two sides. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Awwad highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in supporting the human rights. Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced in a statement here today that 357 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 345,232, including 8,228 active cases undergoing treatment.
Of these, there are 784 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.
It added that 17 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 5,313.
Meanwhile, as many as 361 cases have recovered, raising recoveries’ toll to 331,691.
On the other hand, 52,321 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
