Minister of Islamic Affairs Inspects Number of Mosques in Riyadh to Ensure Their Readiness Before Reopening Next Sunday

Riyadh– Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh made here today an inspection tour of a number of mosques, in order to determine its readiness to receive worshipers according to the noble order that includes reopening mosques to worshipers in all regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia except the City of Makkah starting next Sunday after applying the health precautions to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
During the tour, Dr. Al-Sheikh reassured of preparations made by the Ministry branch in the region through maintenance by operation companies and the completion of sterilization and cleaning to ensure the safety of worshipers.
Dr. Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of applying all precautionary measures issued by the Ministry in coordination with the competent authorities to prevent the Coronavirus spread as well as providing notices in several languages in all mosques to direct worshipers to work in accordance with those procedures and instructions to ensure their safety.
