Sudanese Prime Minister survives an assassination attempt

Khartoum, The Prime Minister of the transitional government in Sudan, Abdullah Hamduk, survived an assassination attempt today, after a car bomb explosion targeting his motorcade this morning, off the armed forces bridge in Nile Street in Khartoum.

The director of Hamdouk office, Ali Bakhit, confirmed that the Prime Minister's vehicle was subjected to bombing, indicating that no one was injured.
