Araji: Concessions, contributions make formation of cabinet easier

Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, is hard at work to form a cabinet as soon as possible, and he is trying to present a cabinet formula," MP Assem Araji said in an interview with the "Voice of Lebanon 93.3" radio station.

"However, Hariri is being faced with many obstacles," he added.

"Everyone is aware of the current economic situation, and is fearful of an impending collapse. People need to concede and contribute to the formation of the cabinet," the lawmaker implored.

"PM Hariri cannot form any cabinet except for a government of national accord. Having a de facto government could potentially disturb the country and cause many problems. PM Hariri communicates constantly with President Michel Aoun," MP Araji confirmed.

When asked about the possibility of having the "Future Movement" invite Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, to hold a legislative session, the deputy commented, "It will be discussed if the invitation is sent, and if the bloc has any specific stance."
