A Cache Of IEDs And Mortars Found In Rutba, West Of Anbar

BAGHDAD, The security forces found a cache of improvised explosive devices and mortars in Rutba district, west of al-Anbar.

"The hideout is in the form of a large iron tank and buried underground in Dabaa area south of al-Rutba," a spokesman for the security information center Brigadier Yehia Rasool said in a statement.

He added: "The cache contains 65 artillery shells and 35 mortar rounds and a number of IEDs of different sizes and a number of 14.5 mm, which were detonated by the engineering detachments."
