Governorate’s summer camp concludes

Northern Governor, Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdulhussain Al-Asfoor, has said that the Northern Governorate seeks to re-direct youth's potentials to increase productivity, and consolidate the values of loyalty, belonging and dedication in the service of the nation.

Speaking during the closing ceremony of the governorate's Youth Summer Camp 2018, held at Zeinab Girls' Intermediate School, Al-Asfoor stressed that the optimal use of youngsters' potentials would create a generation whose members are capable of assuming the responsibility of preserving the nation to whom we owe a lot.

He asserted that everyone is entrusted with the responsibility of preserving the nation's security and stability, under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's prosperous Reform Era, in line with the HM the King's strong belief in the role of youth as strategic engines in the enhancing the developing march and safeguarding the kingdom's security gains.

The governor conveyed greetings from the Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, to those present, and wishes of success for the camp's closing ceremony.

He said that the 200 male and female students, aged between 12 and 18, had taken part in this year's summer camp, themed We Are All Partners in Peace.

He extended thanks to Tamkeen for sponsoring the governorate's summer camp, paying tribute to parents for their support.

The governor presented appreciation certificates to community police members, and souvernir gifts to organisers and sponsors.
