PKK Announces Killing Of 7 Turkish Soldiers

BAGHDAD, The Popular Defense Forces (PKK), the armed wing of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), have killed seven Turkish soldiers in Golmerk, Akri, and Wann areas in the Kurdistan region.

It said in a press statement that they carried out a military operation against the Turkish army soldiers based on the Lilacan hill in the region of Bradust, of Kurdistan region of Turkey, killing three Turkish soldiers and wounding another.

The Popular Defense Forces (PDF) said it carried out another the operation against a Turkish army unit in the state of Akri, killing two Turkish soldiers.

The statement pointed to the implementation of another operation by the PDF in Albak area in Wann region, killing two Turkish soldiers and wounding two others.
