Abou Hassan: PSP doesn’t have anything to give up to facilitate cabinet formation

In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station, Deputy Hadi Abou Hassan said that the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) did not have anything to give up for the sake of facilitating the formation of the government.

"It's not right to resolve cabinet formation disputes for the benefit of one party on the account another," the lawmaker added, calling on all political parties to suffice by representing their actual size.

Hassan also pointed out that the PSP supported the Prime Minister-designate in his cabinet formation efforts, adding that all the other political parties should be involved in facilitating the birth of the new government as soon as possible.

He finally pondered whether it was possible for a bloc of seven MPs to be represented by two ministers and a bloc of one MP to be represented by one Minister.
