Yemeni Foreign Minister: Hodeidah port under Houthi militias represents a great threat to countries of the region and the world

Aden, Yemeni Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Yamani has discussed in a telephone conversation with British Minister of State for the Middle East at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Alistair Burt the current situation in Yemen, especially humanitarian aid to Hodeidah.

According to the Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni Foreign Minister confirmed that if the port of Hodeidah in western Yemen remains under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, it will pose a great threat to the security and stability of the countries of the region and the world, as they receive weapons and missiles from Iran, saying "It is no longer possible to remain silent about the threats of Houthi militias in Bab Al-Mandab area and the Red Sea".
